Can space and time exist separately??

As Einstein had said, do past, present and future are only the illusions of our minds and all of them actually exist simultaneously from universe's perspective??

Why humans have such a poor understanding of Time than we Vulcans, who not only understand time on deeper level but also value it more than humans??
